Inc. Announces Promotions
Jan
Chase is promoted
to Vice-President/General Manager.
Jan has been with United Express
for over 20 years and has been
serving as the company’s
General Manager. This new position
will create a top-level contact
for problem resolution, strategic
planning and intra-departmental
coordination required to sustain
the company’s rapid growth.
Michael Tolomeo has
been promoted to Director of Operations
for United Express System, Inc.
of Aurora, IL according to an announcement
by company President Brad Westrom. Mike
joined United Express in 2003 as Lead
Dispatcher and has 24 years experience
in the transportation industry starting
as a driver and rapidly progressing
into supervisory and management positions.
In Mike’s new role he will be
responsible for managing the improvement
and expansion of distribution interests
and researching new and innovation
initiatives. United Express is a leading
provider of Transportation and Distribution
services in the Chicago area and throughout
the Midwest.
Diane Lawrin has
joined United Express System, Inc of
Aurora, IL as Director of Sales and
Marketing. Diane has 20 years progressive
marketing experience in the transportation
service industry. In announcing Diane’s
appointment, Brad Westrom, President
of United Express system, stated that
her joining this leading provider of
Transportation and Distribution services
will allow the company to aggressively
pursue innovative initiatives while
strengthening their team oriented customer
relations program.
Debora
Daniels is
promoted to Chief Financial Officer.
Debbie has been with the accounting
department of the company for over
15 years. In her new role she will
be responsible for all financial issues
and for interfacing with our outside
public accounting firm.
 Our
President, Brad
Westrom is currently
the immediate past president of the
Express Carriers Association, a national
organization that brings shippers and
carriers together. He also presently
sites on the board of Directors of
the Illinois Trucking Association.
